Borrowing from the artistic practice of kintsugi, WabiSabiCity proposes repair as an architectural strategy to shape how we remember, recover, and move forward after rupture. Architectural interventions at 3 scales keep scars visible so that reconstruction and reuse become a cultural act of remembering rather than erasing loss. WabiSabiCity proposes repair as an architectural language, varied across infrastructural, cultural, and domestic scales to shape how societies remember, recover. and move forward after rupture. Here, repair becomes a cultural act of remembering. Find the WabiSabiCity website here.
